DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: May 22, 2026

TrunkSeries respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and designers to do the same. This page explains how we handle takedown requests under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), and how to contact us if you believe one of our products infringes a copyright, trademark, or other right you own.

1. Our Commitment

We do not knowingly sell products that infringe on third-party copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other intellectual property. Every design uploaded to our store is reviewed before listing, and we remove any item we find to be in violation. We also act promptly on properly submitted takedown notices.

2. How to Submit a Copyright Takedown Notice

If you are the copyright owner (or an agent authorized to act on the owner’s behalf) and you believe content on https://trunkseries.com infringes your copyright, please send a written notice that contains all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (a registration number, a public URL of the original, or a clear description).
  • The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing product page(s) on trunkseries.com, plus a description of the specific element claimed to infringe.
  • Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • The following statement, exactly: “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
  • The following statement, exactly: “The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”

3. Where to Send a Notice

Send copyright notices to our designated agent by email or postal mail:

  • Email: [email protected] (subject line: “DMCA Notice —
    )
  • Mail: TrunkSeries DMCA Agent, 1000 8th Ave, New York, NY 10019, USA

We review every valid notice within 5 business days. Listings found to infringe are removed, and the customers who purchased the item are refunded if their order has not yet shipped.

4. Trademark and Publicity Rights

For trademark, right-of-publicity, or other non-copyright claims, please follow the same submission instructions above and clearly describe the right at issue (e.g., “U.S. trademark registration #1234567 for the word mark XYZ”). We treat well-substantiated trademark and publicity claims with the same priority as copyright notices.

5. Counter-Notice

If you uploaded or commissioned a design that was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to [email protected]. The counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the removed material and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal court in the district where you live (or, if outside the U.S., the U.S. District Court for the District of Ohio), and that you accept service of process from the party who submitted the original notice.

6. Repeat Infringers

We terminate accounts and remove all listings from any designer, partner, or user who is found to be a repeat copyright infringer.

7. False Notices

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing may be liable for damages. Please be sure your notice is accurate before submitting.

8. Questions

If you have questions about this policy or about a specific listing, contact [email protected].
